Services not provided:

  • Life-threatening emergencies: Go to an emergency department or call Triple Zero (000) immediately for chest pain, trouble breathing or sudden body weakness.
  • Routine medical paperwork: Regular prescription refills, medical certificates or clearance certificates. Please contact other providers for these needs.

Who can access

  • Anyone in Victoria (including visitors) with an urgent health concern that is not life-threatening.

What you need

  • Phone, tablet or computer with a working camera
  • Reliable internet connection
  • Quiet, private place to talk
  • If available, healthcare card details (i.e. Medicare, DVA, Private Health Insurance).

Note: You do not need an appointment, GP referral or Medicare card. You can also register on behalf of someone else.

How to access

  1. Click Get urgent care now at the top or bottom of the page.
  2. Fill out the registration form.
  3. You will be linked directly to the virtual waiting room and placed in the virtual triage queue. A backup link will also be sent to your phone (SMS).
  4. When it is your turn to be seen, click Start Video Call.
  5. Type in your details and click Continue.
  6. Stay on the screen and wait for a staff member to answer.
